Volunteer Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Please note: It will take one week for GRCM to complete the volunteer screening process. Please contact the Museum after that time to schedule your first volunteer visit.

TEENS (14 to 18 years of age):

2. A signed Parental Permission form must also be completed prior to volunteering. CLICK HERE to download the Parental Permission form.

Return your completed APPLICATION & signed PARENTAL PERMISSION form to:

OR bring your Application and signed Parental Permission form with you on your first scheduled volunteer visit.

The Grand Rapids Children's Museum salutes former volunteer Hope Bradley for her extraordinary work!

Hope worked hard EVERY week behind the scenes to build and maintain computer databases, which helped the Museum serve thousands of children who came on field trips to experience hands-on learning through play.

Speaking of her volunteer experience, Hope said, “Volunteering adds a deep richness to my life. Sometimes it’s in watching a child discover something new, sometimes it’s in the fellowship with others I am working with, and sometimes it comes from the fellowship with those I serve."
