Sensory Friendly Playtime at GRCM
Grand Rapids Children's Museum
Together with Autism Support of Kent County, GRCM welcomes families to play in a calmer, quieter environment outside of regular Museum hours. Free to attend but registration required.

Friends Just Like Me
Grand Rapids Children's Museum
Join Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan (DSAWM) at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum for Friends Just Like Me, a special after-hours celebration of World Down Syndrome Day! Wear your mismatched socks and DSAWM gear and enjoy free play with full access to the museum. Pizza provided.
This event is free, but RSVP is required through DSAWM.

Get ready for Monster Jam excitement at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum! See a REAL Monster Jam truck on the Rainbow Road, meet the driver, get autographs, take photos, and enjoy themed programming!

💥 Enjoy Monster Jam-themed activities
💥 Meet & greet and special programming—all included with museum admission!
💥 Special 3rd Thursday museum admission of $3 per person from 4-8pm
💥 6-6:30pm – Free photo op outside with the Monster Jam truck & driver!
All activities (except the outdoor photo op) will be inside the museum. Museum admission required for entry. Come rev up the fun!

Let's Play Golf Outing

Save the date! Proceeds from the 7th Annual Let’s Play! Golf Outing will help the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum continually provide funding by supporting our efforts to bring play to all children in our community through open-ended programs, exhibits, outreach initiatives, and community partnerships.
Registration details will be announced in the Spring.
