Make a paper plata-a-saurus

  • Oct 16, 2019
  • 1 min read

Make your own dinosaurs, or any other creature you can imagine, with just a few materials from home!  This activity ignites imaginations while developing fine motor skills. We’ll be making these at the museum on October 24th.

Supplies:

paper plates

scissors

glue, tape, staples or brass fasteners

construction paper

paint, markers or crayons

How to:

1. Fold the plate in half, with the bottom of plate on outside 2. Stand the plate on the rounded edge, or cut off one end to create a flat standing edge 3. Transform the plate into a dinosaur (or any other creature you want) using paper, markers, tape, etc. You can add color to the plate, and make body parts or any other details you like.
